Blithering Blank 2, Food and fear
The pigeon sitting on her nest, looks down on the two legged murderer and stops cooing.
The blackbird clicks warnings as she scuttles under a bush.
The murderer sits under the tree and watches.
The wren dares not sing to his nests.
At night, the tawny owl dares not hoot.
The murderer lies down for the night.
The neighbours have not seen the murderer.
They hope for some food.
But this is too much!
Loudly, the robin, blackbird, and wren drive them off.
I have heard these song fights. Last night there were two owls.
